I have the virgin mobile USB internet device. I pay $50 per month for "unlimited", but looking at the fine print they say that "unlimited" means that I recieve the first 2.5g at normal speeds then they slow the service after I hit 2.5g

The word "unlimited" leads you to believe there is no limit, but actually 2.5g means unlimited to them.

It's just a lie. Also the service is very slow. I'm looking at verizon's jetpack to replace this pathetic service from Virgin.

Don't waste your money on anything Virgin they are liars.

I know the plan is only $50 per month, but I spent another $90 bucks for the device, so actually I'm out 90 plus 50

The service is unlimited, then you have a speed redcution when you go up to 2.5gb, but you still have the web active and you can always check on fb and email... dont use the 3g to stream movies, for that is better to use wifi

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNLIMITED INTERNET WITH VIRGIN MOBILE. THEY ARE FALSE ADVERTISING!

UNLIMITED MEANS UNLIMITED. NOT LIMITED. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. IF YOU HAVE A REAL PROBLEM, THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY HAVE FIXED IT ..BUT YOU HANG UP FROM THEM AND YOU STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.

I WILL NOT EVER USE A PRODUCT FROM VIRGIN MOBILE OR USE ANY SERVICE FROM VIRGIN MOBILE. THEY OWE ME MONEY.

:? DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. NEVER USE THEM FOR ANYTHING.

Unlimited does not mean unlimited speeds. It obviously means unlimited gigabytes. *sigh* You need to read the fine print when you sign up for something.
